Runaway Dreams

Already feeling nostalgic for a lost summer...

How I feel today...

'Nuff said.

Awesome Photo Collab

So I come outside yesterday to see 3 people roll up outside the studio on a motorcycle. This stellar photo is the fruit of spontaneous effort and collaboration by Justin Keena, Steve Schinnerer and the lovely Heather McGrath.

Anthropologie

So while I'm not usually impressed by Anthropologie's catalogues, this one really hit the nail on the head.

Lady of the Dust Bowl Era

My mother just passed along these photographs of her aunt, Grace Rienstra. Fashion and class amongst the masses like this will never exist in my lifetime I'm sure, but that doesn't mean I can't rock a pompadour and red lipstick!

Bluelily Photography

Came across these pictures today and was stunned. Not usually a fan of family portraiture, I was blown away by these photos. Please check out Bluelily's full site here.

Beach Birthday

Spent my birthday on Nantasket Beach, MA playing arcade games, getting airbrush tattoos and collecting sea glass. Probably one of the better birthdays I've had in a long time. I filled a sea shell with various beach finds that I'm going to display on a shelf in my new room. I'll post pictures as soon as I'm settled!

Thank God for the 1980s...

Punk women will always be a source of inspiration amongst the fashion world. Lately I can't get enough...

End of summer...

And there ain't a thing now that you can do
You expect everyone to have pity on you
Nobody else can put their life in your hands
So get up and move while you still have the chance

Spent the weekend relaxing in Little Compton, RI. There is nothing like small towns, antique stores, fresh produce and salty beach hair. Makes me want to run away to the ocean and never look back.

see shapes in trees.

Beautiful photo by Jesse Gough.
